Ready to take your revenue to new heights?

Still not convinced you should attend Generation Revenue?

GenR is our virtual conference for the next generation of revenue leaders who are driving predictable growth at their companies today. We shared the basic details earlier this month, a sketch, if you will, but now we want to add the color: Who’s coming, and why this event matters to everyone who touches revenue operations.

The Generation Revenue conference basics

You can skip this if you’re already registered.

If you missed the initial announcement, here’s what you need to know:

  • Who: Revenue leaders, like you
  • What: A virtual conference May 11-12
  • Where: Anywhere
  • Why: There’s a movement happening across revenue teams. They’re embracing a modern revenue operations approach where visibility, truth, and collaboration are replacing silos and doubt. We’re bringing these leaders together to share how they’re operationalizing and scaling their strategies to drive growth and predictable revenue.

After all that, if you still need more reasons to attend, here are 10.

1. Best practices from Generation Revenue

Clari’s mission is to make revenue operations more connected, efficient, and predictable for every revenue team. One way we do this is by investing in education and thought leadership for our customers and prospects. This mindset is pervasive across the company, and starts with our Chief Executive Officer, Andy Byrne.

The goal with GenR is to have something for everyone on the revenue team. That’s why our sessions feature a diversity of roles, titles, and companies.

From Byrne’s LinkedIn post: “The GenR mission is to exponentially expand the collective knowledge of revenue operations, driving value for you, value for your team, value for the entire RevOps community.” We’re making good on that.

2. Clari knowledge sharing

Clari has become required equipment for our customers as they drive transparency and accountability from the boardroom to the front line. Throughout GenR, you’ll have an opportunity to hear how they’re leveraging Clari to create repeatable revenue processes that drive predictability at scale.

On Day 1, we’ll have a dedicated live breakout session called “Clari Labs,” with three of our product managers and three customers sharing use cases and taking questions. At any point during the conference, you can pose a Clari-related question or thought in the chat and get an answer in real time, or as a follow-up after the event.

3. Sales executives discussing leadership and how to drive revenue growth

Predictable revenue at scale is the goal for our customers. In 2020, our customers raised private and public capital in 2020 at an aggregate valuation of over $100 billion. We’ll discuss revenue growth in our live main stage session, “Predictable Revenue at Scale: Connecting the Board Room to the Front Line.” We’ll examine how revenue leaders are driving predictability and alignment across every corner of your revenue team at scale, featuring:

  • William Corkery, CRO, Dell Boomi
  • Anne Bolton, Vice President of Sales Experience, Hewlett Packard Enterprises
  • Ann-Christel Graham, CRO, Talend
  • Moderator: David Delnero, VP of Sales, Clari

Our closing session will examine what it means to be a revenue leader today, with three top executives answering questions like: What does it mean to be GenR? How do these leaders represent those qualities, and what does GenR look like in practice?

  • Laura Palmer, Vice President of Sales, Americas & EMEA, Unity
  • Chris Klayko, SVP and Managing Director, UiPath
  • Ted Purcell, CRO, Tealium
  • Moderator: Cornelius Willis, Chief Marketing Officer, Clari

4. The Revenue Operations Council

Clari’s Revenue Operations Council, a coalition formed by leading tech companies, includes key revenue leaders from Zoom, Workday, Okta, and more. They provide market education on strategy, best practices, and professional development to the worldwide revenue operations community.

Earlier this year, the Council released its first paper, Strategic KPIs to Fuel Growth Initiatives, and they’ll be taking your questions at a live main stage panel: “Revenue Operations Council: Making Ops a Strategic Differentiator.”

The Council:

  • Pilar Schenk, Global Sales Strategy and Operations, McAfee
  • Debra Estrada, Global VP Revenue Operations, WalkMe
  • Ron Johnson, VP Sales Operations, Workday
  • Rosalyn Santa Elena, Head of Revenue Operations, Clari
  • Moderator: Vikas Taneja, Managing Director and Senior Partner, Boston Consulting Group

5. Break time: $500 Airbnb gifts cards and DJ Hesta Prynn

We know breaks are critical to letting your brain absorb all of the knowledge from our panels.

Rather than leave you with dead air, we’re going to give you a chance to win a $500 Airbnb gift card for your next trip or staycation. We’re calling it GenR DJ Bingo, featuring DJ Hesta Prynn, “one of New York’s most sought after DJs,” according to New York Magazine.

6. Women in Revenue

Clari is an official sponsor of Women in Revenue. Together, we’re holding a dedicated breakout session led by Clari Sales Director and Women in Revenue board member, Lynn Powers. The panel, “Full-Funnel Accountability: How Women in Revenue Are Leading Creative Collaboration Across Revenue Teams,” features representatives from sales, marketing, and customer success, sharing how they collaborate with their counterparts to drive predictable revenue.

7. General (Ret.) Stan McChrystal

Sales leaders often compare their quarterly quotas to going into battle. In marketing, there’s reasons we call our efforts campaigns. General (Ret.) Stan McChrystal has spent years taking the lessons in leadership he learned on actual battlefields, including leading the American military in Afghanistan, and turning them into a powerful model of organizational effectiveness. He’ll hold a fireside chat with Clari’s CRO Kevin Knieriem.

Topics include how to:

  • Create shared consciousness within your organization
  • Foster an environment of empowered execution
  • Help every team member know exactly what to do to drive growth

There will be a live question and answer session at the end.

8. Sessions on career growth

We know just how important career growth is for every revenue leader and aspiring revenue leader. We have several opportunities on this topic.

“On the CRO Career Path:” What does it take to grow your sales career today? What does the path to the CRO look like? Our panelists share what’s worked for them.

  • Hannah Goldberg, Head of Sales, Major Accounts, Zoom
  • Catherine O’Connor Hurley, Senior Director, Mid Market & Enterprise Sales, LinkedIn
  • Peter Kim, SVP of Sales, Relativity
  • Moderator: Holly Procter, VP of Sales, Clari

“SDRs: Revenue Leaders of Tomorrow:” This panel will dive into how SDRs can leverage their perspective and experience straddling the world of sales and marketing as they develop into the revenue leaders of tomorrow.

  • Holly Meadows-Smith, Account Executive, Google
  • Ernest Owusu, Senior Director, Sales Development, 6Sense
  • Samantha McKenna, Founder and CEO, #SamSales
  • Moderator: Kyle Coleman, VP Revenue Growth and Enablement, Clari

“CEO Perspectives:” Three CEOs join us for fireside chats with Clari CEO Andy Byrne. Each has a unique story to tell about how leadership is changing and their expectations for the next generation of revenue leaders.

  • Eric Yuan, CEO, Zoom
  • Todd McKinnon, CEO, Okta
  • Ramin Sayar, CEO, Sumo Logic

9. Networking with peers and colleagues

You’ll have opportunities to connect with fellow attendees throughout the conference, in chats and direct messages. Each session offers a live questions and answer session at the end. Breakout sessions throughout the day will feature more intimate, small group discussions.

On Day 2, exclusively for customers, you’ll be grouped into pods for in-depth workshops and interactive sessions as our Clari community shares best practices and industry insights.

10. A sneak peek at the future of Clari

Our team has built a Clari concept that will make total alignment at scale even more seamless, streamlined, and efficient. There’s only one way to find out what that looks like.

11. Bonus: more fun stuff

We want you to walk away from GenR 2021 feeling inspired, with actionable takeaways to implement with your team immediately.

But that doesn’t mean there isn’t fun stuff throughout.

In our grab bag of fun:

GenR swag: The first 300 registrants will receive a premium coffee kit with coffee beans, a GenR mug and notebook, and bingo card.

Coffee happy hour with a master barista: While you flip open your laptop and settle in, DJ Hesta Prynn will offer a tour of our interactive virtual conference platform, and you can join a coffee happy hour with a Master Barista. What better way to put those coffee beans and GenR mug to use?

Find your tribe with our GenR leadership survey: Don’t wait until May 11 to enjoy the GenR buzz. We’ve identified five archetypes of Generation Revenue values. What do they stand for, and which one are you? Take our quiz, and learn something about yourself—something you can take back to your teams. How valuable is the GenR conference? You’re learning something even before it starts.

I hope you’ll join us for Generation Revenue on May 11-12 for all of the above reasons, and more.
