Revenue teams do whatever it takes to make their number.
Some hit it. Many don’t.
Why is that?
The difference is that best-in-class revenue teams realize revenue isn’t just an outcome, but a process. A process that can be controlled, measured and optimized like any other. We believe that’s a big opportunity for virtually every revenue team on the planet.
Some of the world’s leading venture firms believe the same thing, which is why today I’m thrilled to announce we closed a $60 million Series D investment, led by Sapphire Ventures.
We’re also welcoming new investor Madrona Venture Group, who participated in the round along with existing investors Sequoia Capital, Bain Capital Ventures and Tenaya Capital.
With this funding, we’ll accelerate Clari’s growth, currently tracking at 200%. Our Revenue Operations platform is already processing over $300 billion in pipeline, and is used by over 50,000 revenue professionals across 170 countries...and I hear from them every day.
Just last week, I heard from a revenue operations VP who gave her team their Sundays back, thanks to Clari continuously rolling up real-time forecasts. I heard from a regional sales director who can now strategically coach rather than tactically nag, because Clari’s AI gives him new visibility into his team’s activity and identifies risk across his entire pipeline. And I heard from a CEO who acted on Clari’s predictions to proactively boost his company’s investment plan, opening up dozens of new jobs and accelerating the company’s growth.
When I look back on the last 6 years, the thing that stands out is how much we’ve learned from customers like these. Alongside the rest of the Clari community, we’re all becoming experts on this new way to revenue: the science of running an efficient, connected and predictable revenue process.
And that community includes some of the fastest-growing companies in the world. This year we saw customer IPOs from Zoom, Medallia, Fastly and Datadog. We saw record growth from category leaders like Adobe and Workday. And Innovators like Okta and Alteryx continue to shatter investor expectations. All of them use Clari to run their revenue operations.
These innovators are solving problems that have plagued revenue teams for decades. When we started, we were often asked, “Why do I need Clari if I have a CRM?” We don’t hear that now. CRM is an essential system of record for every business. But if your job is driving growth, you need more. Ramin Sayar, CEO of Sumo Logic, said it best: “I need Salesforce to run my business. I need Clari to accelerate my revenue.”
Our customers are using AI and automation to super-charge their team’s performance. They’ve achieved new levels of automation and efficiency. They don’t have to guess about the state of their pipeline or how their reps are prosecuting it, and most of all, they know where their business will land.
While today is certainly exciting, it’s just the beginning. There’s still more work to do, to bring additional AI capabilities to companies to transform their most important business process: Revenue Operations.
If you’re ready for a new way to revenue, we’re ready to CHARGE the hill with you — request time with one of our revenue operations experts today. And if you are as excited about the future of revenue operations as we are, come join the Clari family.
We’re going big at Dreamforce this year- Customer roundtables, briefings, and our own Clari President’s Club. Reserve your invitation here.
