As we all try to navigate through these unprecedented COVID-19 times, I am certain you’re like me and my fellow Clarians in asking yourself how you and your company can help those in need in an impactful way.
As the CEO of Clari, my first priority was to ensure the safety and well-being for every Clarian around the globe. I continue to monitor this daily. I am also truly thankful for how quickly my team mobilized to help customers gain the utmost confidence in both their revenue outlook and the efficiency of their revenue operations.
Like many of you, this pandemic has given me perspective about not only what’s important in life, but where and how to have an impact, given stay-at-home and social distancing restrictions.
I landed on the idea that I wanted to combine my personal and professional giving, so I reached out to my fellow Clarians and started crowdsourcing ideas. I can't tell you how moved I was when I saw how passionately Clarians responded to this request — it was profound!
In the end, we landed on a few impactful ways to help those who need our support the most, including first responders, the elderly and students in need. All these great ideas build on our existing volunteer and give back programs and will multiply our corporate and personal impact.
This process has all culminated in a very proud moment for me as we announce the establishment of Clari Cares, our not-for-profit foundation.
This foundation will give to causes locally, nationally and globally and will be funded by many sources and, most importantly, the foundation will share in Clari’s success!
I’d like to thank my co-founder, Venkat Rangan, my executive staff and the Clarians and other sponsors who helped with seed funding for this foundation. Its initial focus will be the Silicon Valley Community Foundation’s Covid-19 Rapid Response Fund, the Center for Disease Control and the the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for World Health Organization.
While this is our initial response to those in need, this foundation will be led by Clarians who have a passion for giving and who will seek out opportunities where the Foundation can give time and financial support to it matters most!
